Katie Couric: Glee's Newest Guest Star?

Katie Couric may be leaving the news desk and heading to the halls of William McKinley High School in an upcoming episode of Glee, according to Deadline.

The CBS Evening News anchor is being courted to appear in the highly-anticipated Super Bowl episode of the show, which will feature the Cheerios attending the regional cheerleading championships.

Katie will play herself in a scene opposite Jane Lynch‘s Sue Sylvester.
