Chiwetel Ejiofor: '12 Years a Slave' BFI Film Festival Photo Call

Chiwetel Ejiofor suits up for a photo call for his film 12 Years A Slave during the 2013 BFI London Film Festival held at the Mayfair Hotel on Friday (October 18) in London, England.

The 36-year-old actor was joined at the event by the film’s director Steve McQueen.

Earlier in the week, Chiwetel attended the Variety screening of the film held at the ArcLight Hollywood alongside Steve, and his co-stars Lupita Nyong’o and Alfre Woodard.

“You wait all your life for great scripts, you are reading everything, hassling people, your agent, you are trying to get a great part,” Chiwetel told Reuters. “Then this script comes through the door, and you read it and it is a great script and a great part and you think ‘Can I do this? Am I ready to do this? Is it for me?’”
