Sam Worthington Leaves Court After Arrest, Fuels Wedding Rumors with Ring on Finger

Sam Worthington leaves the court house after making an appearance since his arrest on Wednesday morning (February 26) in New York City.

The 37-year-old Avatar actor sported a ring on his left ring finger, which has fueled rumors that he and his love Lara Bingle were secretly married. If you remember, the pair were spotted with matching rings last month.

During the court appearance, Sam was charged with two counts of 3rd degree assault, one count of attempted assault, and one count of harassment. He faces a maximum of one year in jail if convicted, TMZ reports. Sam was also hit with a restraining order against the photographer that he punched.

In case you missed it, Sam was arrested on Sunday (February 23) in New York City after punching a photographer who kicked Lara in the shin. The photographer, Sheng Li, was charged with reckless endangerment.
