Kevin Bacon Brings Alternate Ending of 'The Following' Season Two to Comic-Con Panel 2014

Kevin Bacon is all smiles while answering questions at The Following panel during 2014 Comic-Con held at San Diego Convention Center on Sunday (July 27) in San Diego, Calif.

The 56-year-old actor was joined by his co-stars Jessica Stroup, Shawn Ashmore, and Marcos Siega, as well as creator Kevin Williamson.

During the panel, they presented an alternate ending to the second season finale.

“It was an opportunity to open up a new chapter in his life,” Kevin said of the decision to change it (via THR).

Shawn added, “Losing James Purefoy and Joe Carroll would’ve been tough…The door is open now.”
