Emma Thompson & Kevin Kline Cast in 'Beauty & The Beast,' Release Date Revealed!

Emma Thompson and Kevin Kline have officially joined the cast of the live-action Beauty and the Beast film!

The actors will be playing the roles of Mrs. Potts and Belle’s father Maurice, respectively. Emma has been long-rumored for the role and we’re excited that it has been confirmed finally.

It was also just announced that the film will be released in 3D on March 17, 2017. Also confirmed for the movie are Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, and Josh Gad. Production begins in May at Shepperton Studios in London.

Alan Menken will score the film and write some new songs with Tim Rice to accompany his classic Oscar-winning songs from the original animated film.
