Julia Louis-Dreyfus Wants To Know Why Hillary Clinton's Hair is Such a Big Deal

Julia Louis-Dreyfus is all ready for her close up in this brand new photo shoot from Marie Claire magazine’s May 2015 issue.

Here’s what the 54-year-old Veep star had to share with the mag:

On why she cut her hair for Veep: “I mean, Hillary Clinton has gotten so much sh*t for her hairstyles over the years. Which is remarkable when you consider what it is she does! But hair, for some reason, is a really big deal.”

On female politicians: “In my limited experience, I would say that female politicians can be a bit more forthcoming, open. I don’t mean they’re spilling the beans or saying things they shouldn’t, but I don’t feel a guard in the same way. Maybe it’s a female-to-female thing.”
