Jason Derulo Talks Working With Jennifer Lopez in 'Glamoholic' Mag

Jason Derulo is chatting all about working with Jennifer Lopez in Glamoholic‘s 4th Anniversary Special Issue.

Check out what the 25-year-old “Want To Want Me” singer had to share:

On collaborating with Jennifer Lopez: “I was working on her album, she was like ‘why don’t we do one for yours?’ and I was like ‘hell yeah, let’s go!’, so you know, that was amazing, J.Lo and I we literally danced the whole night, it’s one of those songs that you can’t help but to dance.”

On being a judge on SYTYCD: “I never thought that I’d be a judge on a television show. I did a guest spot on SYTYCD and I had a great time, but it was cool, it was just one time, but then they asked if I’d be a full time judge and I was like ‘No, I don’t want to be that person breaking all those dreams of the contestants’…but it’s the greatest decision I’ve ever made. I’ve had an amazing time so far and it’s something that I could use to give back. I have so much to give off, but I have so much to take in as well.”

On his new album: “Every song in inspired by a personal experience. A song like ‘broke’ that features Stevie Wonder and Keith Urban, that song is about trying to find the reality within my life. If somebody is gonna be able to be with me because of me or because of what I have, or like more money, more problems. A song like ‘Trade Hearts’ talks about how maybe things would’ve worked out had we been able to trade hears, because you know, sometimes men don’t understand women and vice versa. But maybe if we were able to trade hearts I would understand why you felt the need to lie or say the things that you did, and you’d understand why I wanted to be away and spend time away, so it’s all reality, all true.”
