'War Room' Shoots to No. 1 at Labor Day Weekend Box Office

War Room is well on its way to becoming the No. 1 movie at the Labor Day Weekend box office!

According to THR, the new Christian flick brought in $9.4 million for the three days, with an estimated $12.4 million for the entire holiday weekend.

Coming in at No. 2 was Straight Outta Compton, which grossed an additional $8.8 million for the three days and an estimated four-day pull of $11.2 million.

Taking the third spot was A Walk in the Woods, starring Robert Redford and Nick Nolte, which took in $8.1 million for the three days and a projected four-day debut of $10.3 million.

Rounding out the top five were Tom Cruise‘s Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation and Ed Skrein‘s Transporter Refueled, which brought in $7.2 million and $7.1 million, respectively, for the three days.

Final numbers for the entire holiday weekend will be released on Monday.
