Kate Middleton & Prince William Honor the 'Real Heroes' on World Mental Health Day
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (aka Kate Middleton) and Prince William are all smiles while attending an event to mark World Mental Health Day on Saturday (October 10) in Harrow, England.
The royal couple met with young people and participated in workshops hosted by the charity Mind. The organization’s Time to Change program hopes to help those who have experienced problems in their lives to be able to openly talk about their issues.
“I was really very impressed with their huge commitment and understanding around the issue. And their interest in the young people that they spoke to was hugely impressive,” Mind CEO Paul Farmer told People.
“They really put everyone at ease. They genuinely wanted to hear about our personal experiences. Will said, ‘Actually you guys are the real heroes and it’s you that we want to hear from, it’s not about us,’” a volunteer added.
FYI: Kate is wearing a Tory Burch dress.
