'Once Upon a Time' Killed Off a Major Character! (Spoilers)

SPOILER ALERT! Do not continue reading if you haven’t watched tonight’s OUAT!

Once Upon a Time‘s mid-season finale aired on Sunday (December 7) and fans are reeling because a major character was seemingly killed off!

In the episode, Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) and the Dark Ones wanted to take everyone to the underworld to ultimately rule Storybrooke. Things took a dramatic turn, however, when Hook had a change of heart and turned against his crew.

Captain Hook Is Dead!

After having his change of heart, Captain Hook takes all of the darkness into Excalibur, and tells Emma (Jennifer Morrison) to stab him with her sword to save all of Storybrooke. In a big twist after discovering the sword is back…Emma is going to the Underworld to search for Hook!
