Anthony Hopkins Wishes He Hadn't Played Hannibal More Than Once

Anthony Hopkins is all smiles while chatting at the 2016 Winter TCA Tour on Friday (January 8) at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena, Calif.

The 78-year-old actor joined a small panel to discuss his latest Starz project The Dresser and revealed his regrets about playing Hannibal Lecter in the sequel Hannibal and prequel Red Dragon of his famous film Silence of the Lambs (via The Wrap).

“I did it once,” he said. “Made the mistake of doing it twice – three times.”

When asked if he would ever revive the role for the fourth time, his reply was a simple “no.”
