'Deadpool' Breaks Thursday Records Bringing in $12.7M

Deadpool kicked off the weekend with an incredible preview night, making $12.7 million on Thursday evening (February 11), according to Deadline.

The film, which stars Ryan Reynolds, began its run at 7:00 PM and quickly became the biggest Thursday preview audience ever for an R-rated movie.

Over the weekend, Deadpool is expected to bring in a 3-day total of $102.5 million and 4-day total of $115.3 million, beating out last year’s Fifty Shades of Grey.

This is also set to become the best opening of all-time for Ryan.
