Emmy Rossum Just Moved Back to New York City!

Emmy Rossum pins her hair back for a cute look while attending the Of Mercer Women of Substance Dinner on Wednesday (February 17) in New York City.

The 29-year-old Shameless star was joined at the event by Orange is the New Black‘s Jackie Cruz and fashion designer Whitney Port. Emmy is a childhood friend of Dorie Golkin Smith, one of the co-founders of the fashion brand Of Mercer. The event was all about celebrating women and female empowerment!

Emmy recently moved back to the East Coast.

“I did, just six weeks ago,” Emmy told the NYT. “[She and her fiance Sam Esmail] are currently in full-on construction mode in our apartment. We have a dirt floor. But I grew up here, so it’s a homecoming of sorts. New York is so grounding whereas L.A. could make me feel a little unhinged. It’s wonderful to be back.”
