Skyler Shaye Returns to 'Grey's Anatomy' 11 Years After the Pilot

Skyler Shaye makes her return as Katie Boyce in this still from an upcoming episode of Grey’s Anatomy, airing on March 3.

The 29-year-old actress starred on the pilot of the hit ABC series as the patient in Meredith Grey’s (Ellen Pompeo) first surgery as intern. She originally was admitted to the hospital with a sprained ankle, but later experiences multiple seizures and it’s discovered that the fall burst an aneurysm in her brain.

Katie is readmitted to Grey Sloan Memorial with a new aneurysm and Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) takes her case.

Skyler was most recently seen in a recurring role on the third season of Showtime’s Ray Donovan.
