Alexander Skarsgard Explains How He Got His 'Tarzan' Body

Alexander Skarsgard shows off a slight smile as he makes his way inside LAX airport on Thursday afternoon (March 24) in Los Angeles.

The 39-year-old recently opened up about what it took to get his extremely ripped body in his upcoming film The Legend of Tarzan, which can be seen in the new trailer for the film.

“I obviously had a very, very good trainer. Basically had him and a nutritionist. I’ve never done anything like this before, this extreme. I was just really nervous. It was a big challenge and I didn’t know how my body would respond to the training and diet,” he explained to E! News.

The Legend of Tarzan is set to hit theaters on July 1st.
