Christina Grimmie deserves to be remembered for her amazing talent and the music she has given us in her unnecessarily short life.

The 22-year-old singer was a contestant on The Voice‘s sixth season in 2014 and she already had a large following from her YouTube channel.

Christina released one studio album – 2013′s With Love – and two EPs – 2011′s Find Me and 2016′s Side A. She also recorded many cover songs during her time on The Voice.

Christina was killed by a gunman on Friday night (June 10) after her concert in Orlando, Fla. The shooter was tackled by the singer’s brother, but shot and killed himself on the scene.
