LeBron James Will Not Compete in Rio Olympics
LeBron James puts his hands in the air while basking in the glory of his NBA Championship win during a victory parade and rally on Wednesday (June 22) in Cleveland, Ohio.
The 31-year-old basketball player was joined by his family and teammates at the event to celebrate the big win earlier in the week.
It was just announced that LeBron will not play for Team USA in the Rio Olympics this summer.
“I could use the rest,” LeBron told cleveland.com.
LeBron has played in three Olympics and picked up the gold medal in both 2008 and 2012, as well as a bronze medal in 2004.
