Corey Hawkins Teases the New Hero in '24: Legacy'
Jimmy Smits, Corey Hawkins, and Miranda Otto sit down together for an interview at SiriusXM’s broadcast during 2016 Comic-Con on Saturday (July 23) at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego, Calif.
The cast of the new Fox series 24: Legacy was joined by executive producers Robert Cochran and Joel Surnow to discuss the show.
Corey and Miranda both were in attendance at the Entertainment Weekly party later that night, as well as the Fox Fanfare Party the night before. Producer Evan Katz joined the stars at the Fox party as well.
24: Legacy will premiere after the Super Bowl in February and it follows Army Ranger Eric Carter as he is put into a federal protection program with his wife after a successful mission overseas with CTU, the counterintelligence unit of the original 24 series.
“You find him in a good place. He has his wife, he’s a civilian now,” Corey told USA Today about his character. “You’ve got this guy trying to adjust to what life is (now) and then the past comes back” as his mission colleagues and their families start to be killed.
