Meryl Streep On Playing Hillary Clinton: 'I'll Have To Wait For That Role'

Meryl Streep is all smiles while attending a press conference for her latest film Florence Foster Jenkins held as part of the 2016 Tokyo International Film Festival on Monday (October 24) in Tokyo, Japan.

At the event, the 67-year-old actress revealed what she thought about Hillary Clinton once suggesting that she would be her top choice to portray her in a movie.

“I’m very flattered to hear that,” Meryl expressed (via Variety). “But I’ll have to wait for that role. All her great achievements are ahead of her.”
