Protesters Climb 270 Foot Crane to Hang 'Resist' Sign Over White House
Greenpeace protesters climbed a 270-foot construction crane and hung a sign reading “resist” just a few blocks from the White House on Wednesday (January 25) in Washington, DC.
The banner is 70-by-35-foot, and the protesters say they want to “to resist Trump’s attacks on environmental, social, economic, and educational justice to contribute to a better America,” (via the LA Times).
The sign is now going viral over the efforts taken to hang it up.
Protests have been going on across the country since the inauguration of Donald Trump.
One of the protesters live-streamed the protest – watch below!
