Gwyneth Paltrow Returns to Met Gala After Slamming the Event

Gwyneth Paltrow returning to the Met Gala red carpet is something not many people expected after she criticized the event a few years ago.

The 44-year-old actress showed up to the event for the first time in years at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 1) in New York City.

Gwyneth previously said that the event was “so un-fun” back in 2013. “It was too crowded. I did not enjoy it at all,” she told USA Today.

In an interview with Australia’s Kyle and Jackie O radio show she said the event “sucked…It seems like it’s the best thing in the world, you always think, ‘Oh my god, it’s gonna be so glamorous and amazing and you’re going to see all these people’ and then you get there and it’s so hot and it’s so crowded and everyone’s pushing you.”

It looks like Gwyneth has had a change of tune and she even just forged a partnership between her company goop and Anna Wintour‘s magazine Vogue!
