Epic Records' L.A. Reid Accused of Harassment (Report)

Last week, CEO of Sony Music Entertainment’s Epic Records, L.A. Reid, abruptly exited the job – and now it’s being revealed why.

The 60-year-old music executive is being accused of “unlawful harassment of an employee” by a former female assistant. None of the claims by the female employee have been verified.

The company investigated this claim after it was made, Billboard reports. The female assistant’s attorney wrote a letter where she alleges inappropriate remarks about her appearance and clothing. The letter also threatened legal action if a settlement was not reached. It’s unclear if Sony was able to confirm the letter’s contents. Apparently, sources say the letter isn’t totally accurate.
