Brad Pitt Gets Candid About Family Following Angelina Jolie Split: 'We're Keeping the Ship Afloat'

Brad Pitt is opening up about how he is “keeping the ship afloat” following his split from ex Angelina Jolie.

The 53-year-old actor got candid about his emotions and the status of his family following the dramatic breakup.

“I’ve got no secrets. I’ve got nothing to hide. We’re human and I find the human condition very interesting. If we’re not talking about it, then we’re not getting better,” he told the Associated Press.

Brad explained that he and Angelina are currently “figuring out the new configuration of our family,” which includes their six children – Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8.

“Kids are everything. Kids are your life. They’re taking all the focus, as they should anyway,” he said.

Brad added, “I’m not suicidal or something. There’s still much beauty in the world and a lot of love. And a lot of love to be given. It’s all right. It’s just life.”
