Ryan Phillippe Says Daughter Ava Is Preparing for College!

Ryan Phillippe is opening up about his daughter Ava‘s college search and how she’s acing her exams!

The 42-year-old Wish Upon actor dished about his kids during an appearance on Live! with Kelly and Ryan on Monday morning (July 10) in New York City.

“It’s a really exciting time. They’re such great kids, they’re great students and I’m enjoying seeing them become adults,” Ryan said.

“[Ava] just took the ACT and she killed it,” Ryan added. When asked about the college search he added, “Don’t you just find yourself on those campuses looking around where the bad things might be able to happen? All you care about… you want them to be safe and you want them to find themselves, be fully realized, but then it’s like, you’re far away and what’s going to happen, and what are you going to get into?”

Ryan said that Ava is looking at Berkeley, University of Washington, and a school in San Diego. She wants to stay on the west coast as “she’s a California girl.”
