Ariana Grande chats with a friend as they make their way into a recording studio on Friday afternoon (November 9) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 25-year-old singer kept things chic in her usual oversized hoodie with thigh-high boots and her hair up in a ponytail as she spent the afternoon working on some new music.

Earlier this week, Ariana performed her hit new song “thank u, next” on The Ellen Show – where she paid homage to one of her favorite movies with the performance.
