John Cena Tells Seth Meyers He's Happy To Be the Villain in 'Bumblebee'

John Cena hit Seth Meyers couch on Late Night on Wednesday (December 19) and talked all about playing the villain role in Bumblebee.

“I love, because if this film, which takes place in 1987, were to be filmed in 1987 – I would be the hero and she would be like the love interest,” the 41-year-old actor expressed.

“But damn it, we’re in a culture nowadays where she can actually be the hero and kick some ass and I can be the bad guy,” John continued, adding that co-star Hailee Steinfeld is “amazing.”

John also talked about roughhousing with his four bothers, when he realized wrestling was going to be a career and getting his first car when he was 14 – Watch more after the cut!
