Awkwafina Would Host the Oscars 2019 If Asked: 'Sure, Why Not!'

Paging the Academy! Awkwafina is up for the challenge to host the 2019 Oscars!

If you don’t know, there is currently no host for the gig, which takes place on February 24. Kevin Hart was hired for the position but stepped down after some anti-LGBTQ tweets came to light from years ago.

While on the red carpet, Access Hollywood asked the 29-year-old Crazy Rich Asians star if she would take on the gig, to which she responded, “If they give me the call I would do it… Sure, why not, it’s the Oscars!”
