Alan Alda Explains Why He'd Still Work with Woody Allen
Alan Alda is speaking out about the allegations against filmmaker Woody Allen and why he would still work with the director.
The 82-year-old actor worked with Allen on 1989’s Crimes and Misdemeanors, 1993’s Manhattan Murder Mystery, and 1996′s Everyone Says I Love You.
“I’d work with him again if he wanted me,” Alda told THR. “I’m not qualified to judge him. I don’t know all the facts. I don’t know if he’s guilty or innocent. But you can be uncertain — that’s what I go on. I just don’t have enough information to convince me I shouldn’t work with him. And he’s an enormously talented guy.”
Some of the actors who have expressed regret about working with him include Colin Firth and Mira Sorvino.
