'Modern Family' Renewed for 11th & Final Season

Modern Family is coming to an end.

ABC announced on Tuesday (February 5) that the show will be renewed for one final season before wrapping up.

No word just yet how many episodes will be filmed for the 11th and final season.

Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Ed O’Neill, Eric Stonestreet, Sofia Vergara, Nolan Gould, Ariel Winter, and Sarah Hyland have starred in every season of the show.

“For 10 years, our characters have bravely faced turning points in life and moved through them to great personal enrichment; we have chosen a different path by doing one more season of Modern Family,” Christopher Lloyd, co-creator, said (via THR).

Added co-creator Steve Levitan, “Even after 10 years together, we realized there are still some things our writers don’t yet know about each other’s sex lives.”
