'Jeopardy' Contestant Sets One-Day Record with Massive Win!

James Holzhauer, a contestant on the game show Jeopardy!, has broken the record for the biggest one-day total of all time!

The contestant won $110,914 after placing some huge wagers during the Daily Doubles and the Final Jeopardy.

James strategically placed his bid in the final round to have his winnings match the date of his daughter’s birthday – 11/09/14.

The previous record for a one-day total was $77,000 and it was achieved by Roger Craig back in 2010. “I said all along that I wanted to break Roger Craig’s one-game record and I did it,” Holzhauer said after the win.
