Shawn Mendes Responds & Apologizes To Fans After Dodging A Question About 'Senorita'

Shawn Mendes is offering up an explanation and apology to fans after seemingly brushing off one fans’ question during a Q&A session over the weekend.

During his Tampa concert, the 21-year-old musician hosted a Q&A session and was asked by one fan what inspired him to write “Senorita”, his duet with Camila Cabello.

However, he didn’t answer them at all. Instead, he turned it into a funny goodbye.

In a since deleted tweet, Shawn offered an apology and an explanation to his fans on why he didn’t answer.

“Hey! There was no bad intention here,” he wrote. “If you were there, you would have known it was the last question & that’s why I decided to turn it into a lighthearted funny goodbye! Sorry if that upset anyone, I adore you guys! No need for any negativity ❤️.”
