Sarah Michelle Gellar Set to Star in Ellen DeGeneres' Thriller 'Sometimes I Lie'

Sarah Michelle Gellar has joined the cast of upcoming dramatic thriller Sometimes I Lie!

The 42-year-old actress is set to star in the limited series, which is being produced by Ellen DeGeneres.

According to THR, the show will be based on former BBC journalist Alice Feeney‘s novel of the same name which follows a woman who is in a coma and can’t remember how she got there.

While she knows it wasn’t an accident, she is terrified and trapped in her own body, trying to piece together her memories of the past week. With a husband who no longer loves her, a sister hiding a dangerous secret and an ex-boyfriend who can’t let go of her, she knows someone is lying — and that her life is still in danger.

Fox has handed out a script commitment, with a penalty attached, for the series.
