Widow Blasts President Trump & Texas Governor Over Husband's Death From Coronavirus in Obituary: 'Shame On All Of You'

David Nagy‘s obituary is going viral after his widow, Stacey Nagy, called out President Donald Trump and Texas Governor Greg Abbott for their failure to citizens with the COVID-19 coronavirus.

In the obituary, Stacey wrote that the blame for David‘s “needless” death and “deaths of all the other innocent people falls on Trump, Abbott and all the other politicians who did not take this pandemic seriously and were more concerned with their popularity and votes than lives.”

The post continued, “Also to blame are the many ignorant, self centered and selfish people who refused to follow the advice of the medical professionals, believing their ‘right’ not to wear a mask was more important than killing innocent people. Dave did everything he was supposed to do, but you did not. Shame on all of you, and may Karma find you all!”

Stacey spoke with NBC News about the obituary after it went viral and stressed the importance of wearing a face mask during a pandemic like this one.

“I was really pissed at what is going on,” she shared. “The politicians seem to be more concerned with getting votes and popularity … rather than people’s lives.”

She went on, saying that she’s also “extremely angry at the public, the people that run around having parties, that walk around in public not wearing masks. They say they have a ‘right’ not to wear a mask, and the last time I looked at the Bill of Rights, I didn’t see that listed.”
