Daniel Dae Kim & Randall Park Team Up for New Amazon Heist Film!

Daniel Dae Kim And Randall Park are set to star in an untitled Asian American-led heist film for Amazon!

The plot if being kept largely under wraps but Deadline is reporting that it will be “loosely focused on a reunion of high school friends who come together in a nod to the classic, fun ensemble heist films.”

Young Il Kim is writing the script, and apparently many streamers tried to acquire the film that ultimately went to Amazon.

“I think it has nods to Ocean’s 11, The Full Monty as well as Better Luck Tomorrow,” Kim tells Deadline. “It’s a story that kind of highlights community, friendship, unity in a very familiar genre that people I think will enjoy.”
