Jennifer Lopez 'Cut Off' Contact with Alex Rodriguez, Source Explains Why

When Jenifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez ended their engagement recently, they seemingly did it on amicable terms, but now they are no longer in contact.

The 51-year-old singer and actress has seemingly moved on from her relationship with ARod and is rumored to be back with former fiance Ben Affleck after several sightings together.

Now, a source says that Jennifer has completely “cut off” contact with Alex, 45, and the reason is being explained.

“Alex is not thrilled,” a source told People about his thoughts on JLo‘s reunion with Ben. “It definitely hurt his ego.”

The source continued, “[Alex] was under the impression that he and Jennifer would go on as friends, but he is acting so needy that Jennifer cut him off.”

“Jennifer seems very happy. She tried for a long time to get her relationship with Alex to work. She feels good that she decided to break it off. She just doesn’t trust him and didn’t want to waste any more time,” the source added.

Paparazzi caught up with Alex this week and asked for his opinion on the situation and he seemingly threw some shade at Ben.
