The Marvel actor is apologizing for saying that Israel is “committing genocide” while sharing information on social media about the recent Israel/Hamas headlines.

Mark tweeted, “I have reflected & wanted to apologize for posts during the recent Israel/Hamas fighting that suggested Israel is committing “genocide”. It’s not accurate, it’s inflammatory, disrespectful & is being used to justify antisemitism here & abroad. Now is the time to avoid hyperbole.”

It’s unclear if Mark is speaking about one post in particular of his, as he has written extensively about Israel on social media.
