Aaron Carter & Fiancee Melanie Martin Split One Week After Welcoming Son
Aaron Carter and Melanie Martin are breaking up.
The 33-year-old “I Want Candy” star confirmed that he and his fiancee split on Tuesday (November 30) after two years together, and just days after welcoming their son Prince.

“Due to personal reason[s] Melanie Martin and I have decided to go our separate ways,” he wrote on social media, referring to “a very big lie” that took place between Melanie and his estranged twin sister Angel, and saying that he believed his former fiancee had “been lying to me the whole time.”
“I can’t even shed a tear. I’m in utter shock…I don’t have a family now. I was deceived and lied too [sic]. I can’t believe she betrayed [me] this way. I gave her the world. There’s more to the story then [sic] meets the eye. My Heart hurts broken heart,” he continued.
“I have the most conniving deceiving family and Melanie has been lying to me the whole time communicating with my twin sister and the family members who tried to put me in prison and who tried to get a conservatorship on me in court. I’m in shocked this is horrible 🥺.”
He added that she had told him she would be moving to Las Vegas with their son and a friend, and that he now considered himself a “single dad.”
“Prince doesn’t deserve any of this and now it’s my job to just be a single father and that’s what’s gonna happen,” he wrote.
The couple went Instagram official in January of 2020, and announced their engagement that June. Prince was born earlier this month.
