LCD Soundsystem NYC Residency Dates Cancelled Amid COVID-19 Surge

LCD Soundsystem‘s residency is ending abruptly.

The group has cancelled the remaining three dates of their You Are Here 20-night residency at Brooklyn Steel from Sunday (December 19) through Tuesday (December 21) amid the surge in coronavirus cases.

“LCD Soundsystem’s shows at Brooklyn Steel on December 19, 20 and 21 have been cancelled. All tickets purchased via AXS will be automatically refunded – there is no action required if you purchased your tickets via AXS online or by phone,” the venue confirmed in a statement.

This is not the only event that’s been scrapped due to COVID-19 recently: Jingle Ball in Miami also just got cancelled.
