'Raising Dion' Season 3 Premiere Date - What We Know So Far

Raising Dion is a hit!

Season 2 of the Netflix series is currently hovering within the Top 10 of the streaming platform.

Alisha Wainwright and Ja’Siah Young return in the lead roles of Nicole and her son Dion.

Season two takes place two years after defeating the Crooked Man, played by Jason Ritter, following Dion as he develops his powers with his mom and Tevin (Rome Flynn), his Biona trainer who catches Nicole’s eye.

The series also stars Jazmyn Simon (Kat), Sammi Haney (Esperanza), Ali Ahn (Suzanne Wu), Gavin Munn (Jonathan King), Aubriana Davis (Janelle Carr), Tracey Bonner (Simone Carr) and Josh Ventura (David Marsh).

Now, fans are wondering about whether there will be a third season.

While the end credits scene of Season 2 certainly sets up the series for a potential third season, there’s no official news yet on whether Raising Dion has been renewed at Netflix.

The show got a Season 2 renewal back in January of 2020, three months after the first season’s premiere. Therefore, we might still be a few months away from Season 3 news. The show also faced a major delay amid the pandemic.

The cast did a playful video as well rallying for Season 3, saying that “the fastest and safest way” to get another season is by streaming Season 2 within the first 30 days.

“If enough people do that, they’ll quickly renew it for a Season 3,” said Ja’Siah Young.
