Seth Rogen Says 'People Just Don't Care' About The Oscars

Seth Rogen has a theory about why the Oscars ratings haven’t been stellar in the past years.

During a new interview, the 39-year-old Pam & Tommy star opened up about the upcoming award show and shared that it’s because people just don’t care about it.

“I don’t get why movie people care so much if other people care what awards we give ourselves,” Seth shared with Insider. “To me, maybe people just don’t care.”

Seth went on, adding that “I don’t care who wins the automobile awards. No other industry expects everyone to care about what awards they shower upon themselves. Maybe people just don’t care. Maybe they did for a while and they stopped caring. And why should they?”

Last year, just 9.85 million people tuned into the show, versus the previous year of 23.6 million.
