Jesse Eisenberg to Play Sasquatch in Upcoming Movie

Jesse Eisenberg is taking on an unexpected role.

The 38-year-old Zombieland actor made an appearance at the Sarajevo Film Festival, where he sat down for Q&As and was presented with an honorary Heart of Sarajevo Award while hosting a screening of his directorial debut, When You Finish Saving the World.

During an interview, he spoke about an upcoming role that he’s taking on that is catching fans by surprise.

The movie is set to be directed by David and Nathan Zellner, and he’ll be playing…Sasquatch.

“I play a Sasquatch: full makeup, full body hair, no lines. I grunt, but no lines,” he said with a laugh to Variety. “I’m so looking forward to this.”

Not much else is known about the role, but we’re looking forward to hearing more!

He also opened up about his directorial debut: “Maybe unconsciously I thought I could direct a movie, but I never allowed myself to think of it explicitly, because it just feels like such a cliche,” he said.
