Kanye West Continues Calling Out Adidas by Declaring CEO Kasper Rorsted 'Dead'

Kanye West is continuing to call out brands and collaborators.

The 45-year-old “Flashing Lights” superstar made headlines after going after GAP earlier in the week on his Instagram, and now he’s targeting Adidas CEO Kasper Rorsted, declaring him “dead” with a fake New York Times headline.

On Thursday (September 1), Ye posted a fake newspaper headline that declared: “Kasper Rorsted Also Dead at 60.” The sub-headline reads: “I know what you’re thinking … who is Kasper? but even less importantly who is Kid Cudi?”

The caption of his post reads: “God Loves Us.”

Kanye collaborated with Adidas on his Yeezy shoe line, and he lashed out at the brand for their recent “Yeezy Day” launch, which he claims he didn’t have creative control over. The day allowed fans to pick up previously released versions of the shoes that sold out in the past.

“Adidas made up the Yeezy Day idea without my approval, then went and brought back older styles without my approval, picked colors and named them without my approval, went and hired people that worked for me without my approval,” he said in a long message about the situation a month ago.

He’s also previously accused the brand of stealing his designs.
