'Knives Out' Director Confirms Major Detail About Daniel Craig's Character

The director of Knives Out is confirming some speculation about Daniel Craig‘s character.

The 54-year-old actor returns as Detective Benoit Blanc in the upcoming sequel, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, which will be released later this year.

Glass Onion was just screened at the 2022 BFI London Film Festival on Sunday (October 16), and there is a particular scene that indicates that Blanc is living with a man.

At a press conference, director Rian Johnson was asked if this means that Blanc is queer.

“Yes, he obviously is,” Rian responded, according to Insider.

While the actor who plays Blanc’s lover is being kept under wraps, Rian did say, “And there’s nobody in the world I can imagine in bringing me more joy for Benoit Blanc to be with.”

Daniel then added, “No spoilers [but] who wouldn’t want to live with that person?”

Ahead of it’s release on Netflix on December 23, Glass Onion will be hitting theaters for a very limited run. Find out when!
