BTS’ Jin to Perform Solo Single ‘The Astronaut’ With Coldplay in Buenos Aires

Pop band BTS’ member Jin will appear as a special guest at Coldplay’s world tour in Buenos Aires to perform “The Astronaut” together on October 28.

The performance will also be broadcast live in over 3,500 theaters across more than 75 countries/regions. The live performance of “The Astronaut” will also be available to watch on BTS’ official YouTube channel after the concert concludes.

“The Astronaut,” is co-written by Jin and Coldplay, and is set to be released at midnight ET on October 28.

Coldplay and BTS had previously collaborated on the 2021 song “My Universe.”

In June, during their FESTA dinner, the K-pop group announced that they would be taking an extended hiatus in order to work on their own solo projects.

Earlier this month, Coldplay has cancelled several scheduled shows after Chris Martin fell ill.
