Christina Applegate Receives Hollywood Walk of Fame Star in Emotional First Public Appearance Since MS Diagnosis
Christina Applegate is accepting a huge honor while making her first public appearance since being diagnosed with MS.
The 50-year-old Dead to Me actress attended her Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony on Monday (November 24) in Los Angeles.
It was her first public appearance since revealing her multiple sclerosis diagnosis back in the spring of last year. She was set to get her star in 2020, but it was delayed due to the pandemic.

Her Married…with Children co-stars Katey Sagal, Amanda Bearse and David Faustino helped to honor the star in the very emotional ceremony.
She broke down in tears while talking about her daughter and thanking her for supporting her through her MS diagnosis.
“The most important person in this world is my daughter. You are so much more than even you know. You are so beautiful and kind and smart and interesting. I’m blessed every day that I get to wake up and take you to school…thank you for standing by me through all of this,” she said.
She then called of her fans in attendance “gorgeous” and added, “Every single one of you. I love you [all] so much.”
If you didn’t know, she filmed the final season of Dead to Me while battling MS, and told Variety it was “hard as you would possibly think it would be.”
