Elle King Cancels Several Engagements After Falling Down Stairs & Sustaining a Concussion
Elle King had to cancel several radio gigs after falling down the stairs and sustaining a concussion.
The 33-year-old singer took to her Instagram story to share the bad news and to provide a health update to her fans.
She explained that the injury happened while she was taking care of son Lucky Levi Tooker.

“No one ever wants to pull out of shows, especially me. I live for performing. I slipped down the stairs making a bottle in the middle of the night, knocked my a-s out, resulting in a concussion,” she wrote in a story post that was composed in the Notes app.
“I tried to push through and played 3 shows, but the travel, lights, all of it only exacerbated things. I’d like to thank the artists that stepped in and filled my slots, as well as the radio stations for their understanding and continued support,” Elle added.
She signed off by sharing a sweet happy holidays with her fans. Elle also promised to return to performing soon.
The cancelled shows were supposed to take place in Tampa, Florida, Detroit, Michigan and Seattle, Washington.
Elle welcomed her son in late 2021.
