Sam Heughan & Caitriona Balfe Return for 'Outlander' Season Seven Teaser Trailer - Watch Now!

The first teaser trailer for the seventh season of Outlander has been released!

On Friday (December 23), Starz dropped the first footage for the upcoming season of the hit show starring Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe.

The network also announced the release date for the new season.

Based on A Breath of Snow and An Echo in the Bone – the sixth and seventh books in the Outlander series by author Diana Gabaldon – season seven is set to explore the beginnings of the American Revolution.

In the teaser, an arm of a British redcoat soldier can been seen angrily tearing down the Declaration of Independence from a post.

The new season will also follow Claire (Balfe) as she is wanted for murder, and there’s a clip in the teaser of her at the gallows with a noose around her neck.

Sophie Skelton, Richard Rankin, John Bell, David Berry, Caitlin O’Ryan, and Paul Gorman will all be returning for season seven while Charles Vandervaart, Izzy Meikle-Small, and Joey Phillips have joined the cast for the new season.

Season seven of Outlander is expected to premiere on Starz in the summer of 2023.
