“Health is work. Just like a healthy relationship, a healthy career, it’s work. Work with purpose becomes passion; work without it feels punishing,” Jillian told E!

“Are you trying to get pregnant? Do you want to live to meet your grandchildren? Do you want to feel better when you’re in the bedroom with your significant other?’ Going into the New Year, what do you give a s–t about and how is your life going to be better?,” Jillian said on her Keeping It Real podcast.

Jillian says that really understanding the purpose, or the “why” behind your health goals is ultimately what will keep you motivated in the long-term. Everybody wants to lose weight and be healthy, but what is key is bringing clarity to your own reason behind those goals.

Earlier this year, Jillian got married to fashion designer DeShanna Marie Minuto during a private ceremony in Namibia.
