Cate Blanchett Says Jamie Lee Curtis Came Out of Her House Wearing 'Bra & Knickers' Before Their Drive to the Palm Springs Film Festival

Cate Blanchett saw more of Jamie Lee Curtis than she expected when she picked her up to drive her to the 2023 Palm Springs Film Festival.

The event took place on Thursday (January 5) and the 53-year-old TÁR actress was awarded the Desert Palm Achievement Award during the festival.

However, she joked that the trip was almost waylaid after she saw Jamie Lee, who presented her with her trophy, wearing very little clothing.

While accepting her award, Cate spilled the tea about her driving buddy.

“We had this lengthy conversation,” she said, according to Variety. “A discussion about whether I should get into pajamas before driving back tonight. Meanwhile, she’s telling me this about what I should wear, and she comes out in her bra and knickers. This is why we nearly missed the tonight’s event.”
