Ellie Goulding Delays New Album 'Higher Than Heaven,' Reveals New Release Date & Why She Made Changes

Ellie Goulding has some bad news and some good news.

The 36-year-old “Love Me Like You Do” pop star was set to unleash Higher Than Heaven – her fifth studio album – on February 3. However, she took to social media to reveal that the release date had been pushed back over a month.

She explained why and also shared some good news to make up for the delay.

In a thread on Twitter, Ellie explained that Higher Than Heaven would now arrive on March 24.

“I know you’ve all been so patient with me but we’ve had some exciting opportunities appear behind the scenes which I cannot wait to share with you in due course,” she explained.

Ellie continued, sharing some good news: “In the meantime as a thank you for your patience , Im excited to confirm that my new single is called Like A Saviour. It’s coming soon , we’ve shot the video and it’s one of my favourite videos I’ve ever done.”

She teased the music video and promised that another visual was also in the works.

The pop star signed off with a message for her fans.

“Thank you all so much for sticking by me. I can’t wait to finally share this record with you all on March 24 and I hope you love it as much as I do,” she wrote. “Sending you love & warmth as always.”

Higher Than Heaven is one of our most anticipated albums of 2023.
